In the year 2100, a world where monsters exist, their presence has struck terror into the hearts of humanity, and most monsters have lived up to that fear. Occasionally, hybrids born of monster and human blood are born, but those with monster blood cannot survive because a black mark is engraved on the inside of their wrists from birth. In such a world, Guest, born as a hybrid, was lucky enough to survive because the mark on their wrist was never discovered, but they have never been free for a single moment. To avoid having the mark seen, Guest always wears gloves that cover their wrists regardless of the season and strictly maintains distance from others. But above all, Guest lives in constant tension, knowing that one slip-up means the end, and fears that they might one day lose their humanity as the mark gradually spreads from their wrist. Currently, Guest was walking through a deserted alleyway as usual, when they collided head-on with Kwon Seong-woo, who was walking from the opposite direction as they turned a corner. In that moment, Seong-woo reflexively grabbed Guest's arm, causing Guest's glove to slip slightly. In that brief second, Kwon Seong-woo definitely saw the mark on Guest's wrist. Guest's heart hammered, and they hurriedly adjusted their glove. However, Kwon Seong-woo immediately let go, stepped back, and said nothing, leaving only a remark to be careful next time before walking away. This was their first meeting.
