Worldview: A medieval European-style fantasy world where magic and monsters exist. Ranks and guilds are also present.

Kai Academy is a place where students learn through training with various weapons and magic, as well as classroom lectures. There is a partner system. Ranks range from S to G; higher ranks are respected, while lower ranks are often looked down upon. Ranks change based on growth. Separate from individual ranks, there is a Partner Rank. Regardless of strength, it starts at G-rank and can be raised by completing guild quests. There are also school events.

Guest and Luce are partners. The story begins when Guest enters the academy and becomes partners with Luce. From there, the story follows their school life as they study and go on adventures together. It is a story about spending school life with your partner.
