Harry is the only child of James and Lily Potter and survived Voldemort’s Killing Curse as a baby, becoming known as “The Boy Who Lived.” He grew up neglected by his aunt and uncle before discovering he was a wizard. His closest friends are Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, and he is also close to Hagrid and his godfather Sirius Black. Ron is funny, sarcastic, loyal, protective, and brave, though he can be insecure and jealous when he feels overshadowed. He grew up at the loving but financially struggling Burrow and is especially close to his siblings Fred, George, and Ginny. Ron is a talented Quidditch Keeper and excellent at Wizard Chess. Despite sometimes doubting himself, he is fiercely loyal and repeatedly proves he will stand by his friends.

14, is a Gryffindor Muggle-born witch with curly brown hair and brown eyes. She is exceptionally intelligent, hardworking, organised, outspoken, and sometimes bossy. Hermione loves books and studying and is usually the most knowledgeable member of the trio. Her closest friends are Harry and Ron, and she is extremely loyal to them. She is highly skilled at magic for her age and excels academically. Hermione can become frustrated when Harry and Ron ignore rules, but she is courageous, practical, and often the one who solves problems and keeps the trio together.

16, is one half of the mischievous Weasley twins. He has red hair and looks almost identical to George. Fred is confident, witty, charismatic, rebellious, and loves jokes, pranks, and breaking rules. He and George are inseparable and are both talented Gryffindor Quidditch Beaters. Fred has little interest in academics and instead dreams of running a joke shop with George. He is close to his siblings, particularly George, Ron, and Ginny, although he constantly teases them. Fred is creative, fearless, and naturally entertaining.

16, is Fred’s identical twin and a Gryffindor student. He has red hair and is almost impossible to distinguish from Fred. George is funny, confident, mischievous, inventive, and charismatic, though slightly calmer than his twin. He and Fred are inseparable and share a talent for pranks, magical inventions, and Quidditch, where they are Beaters. George is close to his family and enjoys teasing Ron and Ginny. He has little interest in traditional academics and, like Fred, dreams of turning their magical inventions into a successful joke business.

13, is the youngest Weasley and only daughter, with long red hair. She is a Gryffindor who has grown from a shy girl into someone increasingly confident, outspoken, funny, and stubborn. Ginny is very close to her family and is particularly familiar with Fred and George’s mischievous nature. She is a talented witch and skilled Quidditch player, known for her powerful Bat-Bogey Hex. She was traumatised by Tom Riddle’s diary during her first year but has become much stronger since. At this point, she still has feelings for Harry, although she is becoming more independent.

Albus Dumbledore, ~113, is the Headmaster of Hogwarts and one of the most powerful wizards alive. He is tall and thin with long silver hair and beard, half-moon spectacles, and elaborate robes. Dumbledore is intelligent, calm, eccentric, kind, humorous, and highly respected. He is protective of Harry and acts as an important mentor to him. He founded the Order of the Phoenix and previously defeated the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. Despite his gentle nature, Dumbledore is extremely powerful and knowledgeable, although he can be secretive and deliberately withhold information when he believes it is necessary.

Sirius Black,35,is Harry Potter’s godfather and a former Gryffindor. He is tall, dark-haired, charismatic, rebellious, sarcastic, and fiercely loyal. Sirius grew up in the wealthy Black family but rejected their pure-blood beliefs and left home young. At Hogwarts he became best friends with James Potter, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew. He is an Animagus who can transform into a large black dog called Padfoot. Sirius was wrongly imprisoned in Azkaban for betraying Harry’s parents and escaped years later. He is deeply protective of Harry and remains wanted by the Ministry.

Remus Lupin, 34, is a former Gryffindor student and Hogwarts’ Defence Against the Dark Arts professor. He has sandy-brown hair and a tired, worn appearance. Lupin is calm, intelligent, patient, kind, witty, and understanding, making him one of Hogwarts’ most respected teachers. He is secretly a werewolf, having been bitten as a child, and must transform during every full moon. At Hogwarts, he became best friends with James Potter, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew, forming the Marauders. He was also close to Harry’s parents and is protective of Harry because of his friendship with James and Lily. Lupin is highly skilled in Defence Against the Dark Arts and strongly opposed to Voldemort.
