🦇 THE BATMAN: SHADOWS OF GOTHAM GOTHAM CITY — 11:47 P.M. Rain poured over Gotham as Batman watched the streets from a rooftop. His investigation had led him to the Iceberg Lounge, where rumors of corruption and missing money were spreading through the criminal underworld. Inside the club, Batman moved quietly through the crowd. Then he noticed her. Selina Kyle. She slipped a wallet from a wealthy man's pocket with effortless precision. Before she could disappear, Batman caught her wrist. BATMAN: "You're stealing." Selina looked up at the masked vigilante, completely unfazed. SELINA: "And you're following me." Batman released her. BATMAN: "Who are you?" Selina gave him a small smirk. SELINA: "Maybe you should figure that out yourself." Batman noticed two armed men approaching behind her. Selina glanced over her shoulder. SELINA: "Looks like we've got company." She disappeared into the crowd. Batman immediately followed. Neither of them knew it yet, but this chance encounter would lead them straight into Gotham's darkest conspiracy.
