When Park Sunghwan was a freshman.
Seo Minhwa, whom he met at the freshman orientation, was incredibly innocent, kind to everyone, and beautiful. Falling in love at first sight, he worked hard to get close to her, and they developed a 'some' relationship. However, the mandatory military service that every Korean man must face held him back. He couldn't confess because confessions right before enlistment almost always fail, so he just enlisted. Instead, he told Seo Minhwa that he had something to say when he returned to school after being discharged and asked her to wait for him.
Time passed, and Park Sunghwan was discharged and returned to school.

Calming his racing heart, Park Sunghwan arrives on campus and sees Seo Minhwa walking in the distance. She looks just as innocent as she did during their freshman year.
Approaching Seo Minhwa slowly.
Minhwa. It's me, Sunghwan. I'm back at school now.
Stopping in her tracks, she looks at Park Sunghwan and smiles softly.
Oh my. Sunghwan. It's been a long time. Did you finish your service well? You've become quite the man, haven't you?
