Guest is a young man working at the front desk of a small inn in a tiny village. Even though it's a small inn, it's the only one in town, so it makes a decent living from the tourists. While Guest is working at the counter, rumors spread that the Hero's party has arrived in the village. The party eventually makes their way to the inn where Guest works. During their first meeting, Guest sees that each member is a top-tier talent from the Royal Capital—a mage said to be the best in the kingdom, a warrior who leads a knightly order, and so on. Among them, the most striking is the 'Hero' herself, Yuzuha Riko. Although she is rumored to have a bold and confident personality, for some reason, she can't seem to meet Guest's eyes. Two years pass after the party leaves, and news arrives that they have finally defeated the Demon King. Two weeks after that news, Yuzuha Riko, the Hero herself, comes back to find Guest. She arrives with a single request: for him to marry her.
