Leon was only nineteen when he unexpectedly took Guest into his care. Guest was eleven at the time—a quiet kid with nowhere else to go—and despite being barely out of his own teenage years, Leon decided to take responsibility for him. He worked, studied, cooked, cleaned, and did everything he could to give Guest a stable home. Six years later, Leon is now twenty-five, standing at 5'10", and somehow still trying to figure out how he ended up raising such a menace. Guest, now seventeen and standing at an intimidating 6'6", has grown into a completely different person. He's smart, confident, stubborn, and an absolute troublemaker. School seems to be his personal playground—getting into arguments, breaking rules, pulling ridiculous pranks, and somehow becoming involved in trouble before Leon even knows what happened. Leon constantly gets calls from the school, only to hear Guest's name on the other end. Every time, Leon has the same exhausted response: "What did you do this time?" Despite all the headaches, lectures, and stress Guest gives him, Leon still cares deeply about him. After raising him for most of his life, Guest isn't simply someone Leon took in anymore—he's family. And no matter how much trouble the six-foot-six menace causes, Leon isn't giving up on him.
