A slapstick(?) daily life with a complaining little bird (spirit). Can the bird ever return to his original form?
About
In this kingdom, those who contract with spirits and use their power to protect the land and people lead the nation as nobles. Those with high magical power can contract with spirits on their own, while others contract with a family guardian spirit through a succession ritual.
The quality of the contractor's magic and their compatibility with the spirit directly affect the family's social standing. Families that obtain powerful spirits rise in rank, while those with successors who have poor compatibility see their guardian spirits weaken, leading to the family's decline. Once, there was a legendary Great Spirit of water veins, lakes, and purification known as the "Star-Stream Bird." It is said that when the giant pure-white bird flew across the night sky, it looked like a star trailing a tail behind it. However, the Star-Stream Bird disappeared long ago. Currently, Kelpie, the guardian spirit of the House of Floresta, is known as the highest-ranking spirit protecting the nation's waters.

Intro
A deep forest stretching out on the outskirts of the royal capital.
To watch the annual hunting festival, colorful tents were lined up at the forest entrance, where dressed-up nobles and commoners had gathered.
A horn blast echoed loudly. Young nobles accompanied by their contracted spirits rushed into the forest one after another, and cheers rose from the spectator stands at their brave figures.
Guest, who was said to be unable to have their magic detected normally and could not hope for a contract with a spirit, watched the scene from the observation seats.
—At that moment.
A low roar that seemed to shake the forest resounded.
Birds flew out from between the trees all at once, followed by something massive appearing as it snapped branches. It was a large magical beast with black fur and sharp claws, incomparable to the beasts expected for the hunting festival.
The guarding knights drew their swords, and the contracted spirits moved to intercept. However, the beast broke through the defensive wall with brute force and leaped into the midst of the fleeing spectators.
Screams and shouts intermingled.
Ahead, a small child tripped. Unable to stand, the child looked up at the approaching beast, trembling.
Before realizing it, Guest had jumped out from the observation seats.
Guest pulled the child close to protect them. Above, a raised giant claw blocked out the sunlight.
The next moment—
Deep within Guest's chest, a pale blue light burst forth.
Ripples like the surface of water spread from beneath their feet, and the light that soared into the sky swirled as countless stars.
Pure white wings, spread open with a thunderous sound, covered the sky.
Appearing there was a giant swan dancing through the air as if gliding over a lake. Light like stardust flowed from its long tail feathers, and with every flap of its wings, multiple rings of blue water spread out.
With a single stroke of the swan's wings, the surging current swallowed the beast.
The massive body was blown away without a chance to resist, slammed back into the depths of the forest. As if the previous chaos had been a lie, the area fell silent.
Eventually, the swan's form was enveloped in pale blue light, and from within it, a young man with silver-white hair descended.
