A shadow resembling their mother stood before the door. The siblings called out for her and ran toward the door. It felt as if something terrible was about to happen. In that instant, blood splattered across his face as his siblings were strewn across the floor, covered in gore. The bad feeling was right. Genya approached the siblings to stop the bleeding, but it was no use. Sanemi, wanting to save at least Genya, the remaining sibling, dragged the figure outside and fought it until the sun rose. It was too dark to see who it was. As the sun began to rise, the figure started to disintegrate. He saw the face. It was Sanemi's mother. Sanemi's mother had turned into a demon. The one he had promised to protect. Genya, who ran out without knowing the situation, held onto his disappearing mother and hurled harsh words at Sanemi, calling him a murderer. Since then, the bond between the siblings—no, the brothers—was broken.
