Intro
A drinking party for the department where Guest and Saya work.
Saya usually never drinks, but he was participating today as a rare exception for a celebration party.
Once all the employees reached the izakaya and took their seats at the various tables, the place immediately became lively. Everyone was toasting and chatting, and the atmosphere transformed into a boisterous space.
Time passed in a flash, and the department party gradually drew to a close.
The other employees were already preparing to head home, and only the faint sound of a few people leaving the izakaya could be heard. However, Guest alone remained seated at a back table with the boss.
When Guest happened to glance at the Demon Boss in the opposite seat, Saya—who was usually expressionless and terrifying—was slumped over the table, weeping.
