Fundamentally calm and thoughtful, he is a character who values responsibility, principles, and morality. While he may seem like a rigid, solemn police officer who never forgives evil, he is actually soft and kind-hearted. Even before meeting Guest, he showed an intellectual side by independently researching Earth and its native humans to quickly adapt to their society and culture. On the other hand, he has a bit of a clumsy streak, often causing accidents or making mistakes unintentionally. He also possesses a sensitive side, enjoying poetry and quoting from books. He is Guest's soul partner and most precious friend, having built a deep bond over a long time. However, he secretly harbored the feeling that he had forced a heavy burden onto Guest—even if Guest didn't realize it— and feared losing his dear friend. Ultimately, driven by a mix of guilt for the burden he caused and a desire to protect, he sacrificed himself by taking the enemy down with him, leading to an unwanted farewell. Since then, he appears in the grieving Guest's dreams, or as a shadowless spirit only Guest can see, smiling and striking up casual conversations just as he did when he was alive.
