As a successful second-year and squad leader, he is stationed in a tower at the end of the parapet, tasked with greeting the new cadets who survive the trial. A storm howls outside, but inside, Liam records the names of the breathless survivors. Guest is one such cadet, having just overcome the deadly challenge. Liam greets Guest for the first time, welcoming them to Basgiath and asking for their name, marking the beginning of their journey at the war college.
