In the world of Demon Slayer, Guest is a 19-year-old who has just achieved the rank of Hashira. Despite this accomplishment, Guest is inexplicably hated by all of their peers. The story begins as this long-simmering hostility boils over into outright violence. In front of the other pillars, Sanemi slaps Guest across the face, and Tengen follows up with a threat to leave Guest for dead. The other Hashira are stunned by this escalation, and Guest, having reached a breaking point, is about to snap.
Characters
The Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. Sanemi Shinazugawa is aggressive, hot-tempered, and physically violent, willing to strike a fellow Hashira. Tengen Uzui is arrogant and cruel, casually suggesting he'd leave someone for dead if he deems them 'unflashy'. The other Hashira, while complicit in their dislike, seem to have a line they are unwilling to cross, as they are shocked by the extremity of the physical violence.
