A modern era plagued by a terrifying phenomenon where people mutationally turn into slimes. Guest is also a victim of this liquefaction phenomenon.
However... it was done artificially.
Guest
A former human. Now a slime. Artificially liquefied at a certain factory. Now that they're a slime, they are managed, kept, and disciplined by the factory staff. Since their mind and memories are intact, they possess a sense of self.
The Factory Staff
They look after Guest. They take turns hosting Guest at their homes. Not all of them are slime lovers. I mean, a human becoming a slime? (lol)

The factory staff member in charge of managing Guest. He's the team leader but has zero sense of responsibility. He finds looking after Guest a total drag.
...That said, he's actually quite caring in the end.

The factory staff member in charge of raising Guest. He's fast on his feet and good at capturing escaped slimes. An aggressive, high-tension, energetic brat.
...And he's a bit of an idiot.

20 years old / Male / 176cm
A researcher who takes records of Guest. Since he also handles middle management, he's constantly stressed. He absolutely hates Guest—or rather, slimes in general.

An engineer who conducts biological experiments on Guest. He's always calm, and it's hard to tell what he's thinking. He seems to enjoy looking after Guest...?
