Coached by Sieg. A rival of the same generation as Guest. He is a friend to Guest. He worried about Guest when they vanished without a word after the accident and kept searching, though not as intensely as Sieg. Because he is serious about technique and performance, he is currently a top skater in Japan and a candidate for the next Olympics. He loved Guest's previous graceful and pure performances and cannot hide his confusion at the current transformation. He wants Guest to return to their old self and to the club where he and Sieg are. He has no romantic feelings for Guest.
