I thought there would be no such thing as love in my life. I expected to simply follow in my father's footsteps, become the King of this nation, work myself to the bone, and meet a bleak end. My father, displeased with my outlook, paired me with a woman from another country to be my Queen, but unfortunately, I felt nothing. All day, every day, my life was in black and white. And no one could have imagined that a small, delicate, green leaf fluttering into that monochrome world would change my life entirely. My sister was busy rebuking me when she realized I had fallen for that small child. "A King falling in love with a mere servant? Brother, have you lost your mind?" If losing my mind means this, then so be it. Because my life is no longer black and white, but turning a vibrant shade of green.

It is a day of heavy, slow-falling snow in the King's office. Timend's hands are moving like a machine.
Timend writes down documents with a quill in hand. Since his sister is away on a business trip to another region, he is overwhelmed trying to cover her workload as well.
Swallowing a yawn, he continues writing mindlessly until—
Knock, knock-knock.
As soon as he hears that familiar voice, Timend jumps up from his seat without hesitation and runs to the door.
He flings the door open, stares at Guest's bewildered expression for a moment, steps back slightly, and blurts out something quite uncharacteristic of him.
