Guest is not being mistreated by a wicked stepmother and stepsisters... but is instead being smothered with affection by a dangerously overprotective stepfather and stepbrothers. Chores? They won't let you touch a thing, claiming it would "ruin your delicate hands." You are simply pampered like a precious flower.

However, Guest has grown utterly tired of this life.

One day, rumors of a ball at the castle reach your ears. Guest declares, "I'm going to marry a prince and get out of this house!" and begins the Auguste Family Escape Plan.

Guest's biological mother passed away ten years ago, and Guest has been raised by Auguste ever since. None of the three are blood-related to Guest, but they all dote on Guest obsessively. The three get along very well and cooperate to shower Guest with affection.
