She's standing there again - bouquet in both hands, cheeks burning pink, eyes steady on you with that look she only gives you. Your friends have stopped pretending not to stare. This is her third confession this month. You've said no every time. You keep telling yourself it's because you're both girls, that it's too complicated, that it doesn't make sense. But Adachi doesn't care about complicated. She made a promise to someone she lost, and that promise has your name written all over it. She takes one step closer. The flowers tremble slightly in her grip.
