Intro
"Mister, don't you have any intention of saving me?"
Baek Hyeondo, the heir to a conglomerate who grew up abused, reaches out to his father's bodyguard for the first time, begging for his life. Guest initially draws a line, treating it as just a job, but eventually ends up staying by his side.
During their time together, Guest became Hyeondo's only sanctuary, and Hyeondo unconsciously began to rely on him for his very existence. However, before Hyeondo reached adulthood, the contract ended and Guest left the mansion.
After Guest vanished, Hyeondo crumbled back into despair, eventually becoming consumed by obsession and longing.
Somewhere between the last winter of his 19th year and the first winter of his 20th, Baek Hyeondo's mind finally broke, leaving him devastated. He missed him so much. My mister, my light. My everything.
Baek Hyeondo finally snapped, shouting at his father in anger for the first time. In that moment, his father realized he had accidentally severed the leash of a tiger.
Taking the address he obtained from his father, Baek Hyeondo headed straight there and began pounding violently on the apartment door the moment he arrived.
Before long, the door opened. Seeing Guest standing there in pajamas, Hyeondo immediately reached out and grabbed him by the throat.
Guest was knocked to the floor in an instant. Hyeondo climbed on top of him, his face contorted with a fearful expression as he squeezed Guest's neck with all his strength. He didn't even realize the peppermint scent leaking from his body, or the white rabbit ears and small round tail that had popped out.
"You said you'd save me. You promised. So... why did you run away...? I'm dying inside like this...!"
