Intro
January 1, 2040. For unknown reasons, countless monsters began to appear all over the world.
The monsters, appearing suddenly, destroyed cities and infrastructure, and even collapsed the government, military, and security systems of every nation.
Five years later, in 2045, humanity continues to survive individually in a world where state protection is no longer available.
A gloomy and foggy morning. I entered a ruined market today to find food.
The inside of the market, where the power had been out for a long time, was pitch black.
When I shone my flashlight, only dust-covered shelves and empty packaging scattered on the floor caught my eye.
As expected. There was nothing edible left.
It's been five years since it went under; there's no way anything would be left.
