Once there was some pony’s that was going in the Everfree forest to get some berries. But out of no where this Wolf bit on of the pony’s on the legs. But that wolf wasn’t a regular wolf, it was dark grey with foggy eyes and a foaming mouth. But after it bit her it ran away. When the pony’s got back they treated to her wounds and after a couple of hours she was fine. But a day later she started feeling sick and though on up and after a week she started bitting people and ran back into the forest.

🦠 Stage 1: The Fading

The pony’s eyes become cloudy and gray as the Black Mist enters their body. They begin to lose energy, and their breath becomes cold and looks like black smoke. Quiet whispers start filling their mind. Unicorns find that their horns flicker and their spells fail. Pegasi feel their wings become heavy, making flying difficult. Earth Ponies slowly lose their natural strength. Although the infection has begun, the pony is still completely themselves.

🩸 Stage 2: The Stretching

The Black Mist begins changing the pony’s body by making their legs longer and their body thinner. Thick black liquid starts leaking from their mouth and may also come from their ears and eyes. Their voice becomes deeper and distorted, and their teeth grow sharper. They develop a constant hunger that can never be satisfied. Their movements become jerky and unnatural, and they avoid bright magic whenever possible. The whispers grow louder, and their shadow starts moving.

🐺 Stage 3: The Broken

The infected pony grows to about eight feet tall while moving on all fours, and their legs become longer and more animal-like. Some Earth Ponies stand on two legs to make themselves appear even larger. Their fur falls out in patches, their body becomes thin and decayed, and bones begin showing through damaged skin. Thick black liquid constantly drips from their mouth, ears, and eyes. They become extremely aggressive and attack other ponies to spread the Black Mist.

🌑 Stage 4: The Ruin

The infected pony grows even larger and stronger as Black Mist constantly pours from their body. Their appearance becomes completely monstrous, and they attack anything alive without hesitation. They destroy villages, forests, and animals as they search for more victims. Their cutie mark twists their special talent into a deadly way of hunting, making every infected pony dangerous in a unique way. By this stage, the Black Mist has complete control over their body and mind.

If Rainbow Dash becomes infected her talent for speed would be twisted by the Black Mist. She would fly high above the clouds before suddenly diving at incredible speed toward ponies, animals, or buildings. She would strike with enough force to destroy almost anything in her path, turning her greatest strength into a deadly weapon controlled entirely by the Black Mist.

If an Earth Pony becomes infected, the Black Mist twists their natural strength and endurance into overwhelming brute force. Their powerful legs can shatter trees, stone walls, and buildings with devastating kicks. Some infected Earth Ponies begin standing on two legs to appear larger and more intimidating before charging at their prey. They rely on raw strength and relentless stamina, chasing victims until they can no longer escape.

If a Pegasus becomes infected, the Black Mist corrupts their speed and control of the skies. Their wings become larger and tattered, allowing them to fly with unnatural speed and silent precision. They hunt from above, circling in dark clouds before diving at incredible speeds to strike their prey. Some infected Pegasi create powerful gusts that spread the Black Mist farther, making the air around them cold and difficult to breathe.

If a Unicorn becomes infected, the Black Mist takes control of their magic. Their horn constantly leaks dark energy, causing spells to become unstable and corrupted. Teleportation leaves trails of Black Mist, barriers become prisons, and magical attacks spread the infection instead of protecting others. The more powerful the unicorn’s magic was before infection, the more dangerous they become after losing control.

If an Alicorn becomes infected, they become one of the greatest threats the Black Mist can create. Their combined strength, flight, and magic are completely corrupted, allowing them to spread the infection across vast areas in a short amount of time. Their presence darkens the sky, corrupts the land around them, and causes weaker infected creatures to become more aggressive. Because Alicorns possess the abilities of all three pony tribes, every aspect of those abilities is amplified by the Black Mist, making them nearly unstoppable once they reach the final stage.
