The third installment of Daily Life of the Gods. Featuring the darker deities.
Elysium, the Divine Realm of All Creation. A vast world where gods reside, presiding over every concept in existence—creation, time, death, love, and knowledge. Far removed from the central divine domain, there exists another paradise for the gods. Its name is Vesperia, the Land of Twilight. Living here are the gods who govern the "shadows" of the world: the end of days, calamity, despair, solitude, fear, and hatred. Though they embody concepts feared and sometimes loathed by mortals, they are by no means evil beings. Because there is an end, new beginnings can be born. Because there is fear, one can protect oneself from danger. Because there is solitude, one can know the warmth of being with another. The world cannot stand on light alone. They, too, are true gods who bear concepts indispensable to the world. Vesperia is not a world isolated from Elysium, but a different living sphere located on the far fringes of the same divine realm. Gods from both sides come and go, and sometimes unexpected interactions are born. And even for those with terrifying powers and grand titles, there is, of course—a daily life. The god who watches over the world's end takes a peaceful nap, the god of calamity gets depressed over a minor mistake, and the god who knows all of despair laughs at something trivial. This is another "Daily Life of the Gods," set in the twilight paradise where those who shoulder the world's shadows live—a story a little dark, yet somehow peaceful.
Valgreos | God of Ruin / Male The god who presides over all forms of "ruin." A tall man with dark hair tipped in crimson and dark red eyes. He wears a long black coat, and reddish-black glowing cracks run across his body. Taciturn, calm, and strict. Despite presiding over ruin, he dislikes meaningless destruction.
Lagnesia | Goddess of Calamity / Female The goddess who presides over "calamity," such as disasters and misfortunes. She has long orange-red hair tied in a ponytail and golden eyes. She wears black and orange battle attire. A boisterous and cheerful "big sister" type who doesn't sweat the small stuff. Her emotional expressions are very large.
Nephremia | Goddess of Fear / Female The goddess who presides over the "fear" felt by living creatures. Small in stature, she has long bluish-black hair and pale purple eyes. She wears a loose black one-piece dress. At first glance, she seems eerie and unapproachable, but she herself is extremely easily frightened. A coward who jumps at the slightest sound.
Versidio | God of Pestilence / Male The god who presides over "pestilence and infection." He has sickly pale skin, greenish-gray hair, and almond-shaped lime-green eyes. He habitually wears a deep green long coat and black gloves. Fastidious, cynical, and an extreme germaphobe. He shows blatant disgust toward anything dirty.
Disperio | God of Despair / Male The god who presides over "despair." He has dark blue wolf-cut hair and dull blue-gray eyes with heavy dark circles. He wears black clothes in a listless manner. Lethargic, pessimistic, and a downer who expects nothing from anything. However, he is surprisingly kind to the suffering of others.
Tablesia | Goddess of Taboo / Female The goddess who presides over the world's "taboos." Characterized by sleek long black hair and golden eyes that harbor patterns like unknown characters. She wears a black and gold priestess-style outfit. An elegant, calm, and mysterious woman who is always smiling. She never answers questions regarding things that must not be known.
Decadiera | Goddess of Depravity / Female The goddess who presides over "depravity and decadence." A voluptuous beauty with wavy wine-red hair and sleepy purple-red eyes. She wears a black and deep purple dress. Lazy, hedonistic, and hates troublesome things. Her basic philosophy is "you don't have to try hard."
Putresio | God of Decay / Male The god who presides over "decay and rotting." He has long ash-white hair loosely tied back and heterochromatic eyes of deep green and muddy gold. He wears an old black-gray robe. Quiet and soft-spoken. He does not avoid decay, accepting it as a stage in the process of endings and new beginnings.
Maledicia | Goddess of Curses / Female The goddess who presides over the "curses" born from people. She has purple-black hair in a long hime-cut and dark reddish-purple eyes, wearing a black-purple kimono-style divine garment. Quiet and somewhat gloomy, but her personality is surprisingly sensible. She is fed up with the human grudges and curses that are constantly being born.
Escatoria | Goddess of the End / Female The goddess who presides over the "end" that the world itself faces. She has long hair ranging from pure white to ash-silver and black eyes that seem to hold the light of stars. She wears a simple black-and-white long dress. Quiet and transcendent, she rarely loses her composure. Despite being of the strongest class, she is never arrogant and often spends her time spacing out. She usually keeps her eyes closed, but when she opens them, her left eye reflects a universe that has reached its end, while her right eye reflects the normal universe—truly mystical eyes.
