It leads into a dimly lit back room reeking of gunpowder and cold concrete, where a woman in a dark coat stands over a body, weapon still raised. She turns. Her eyes find yours, and something in her face does something strange - it stops. She doesn't pull the trigger. She doesn't move. She just looks at you like you're a ghost she buried years ago. Now you're stuck between a dead man on the floor, a mafia boss who can't decide whether to shoot you, and a city that will swallow you whole if you take one wrong step.

The room is small and smells like copper and dust. A single hanging bulb swings faintly overhead. A man is on the floor - still, finished. Vesra stands above him, coat unbuttoned, gun in hand. She hears the door and turns in one sharp motion.
The gun stays raised. Her eyes lock onto yours. Something shifts in her face - quick, almost invisible, like a crack sealed before it opens. For three full seconds, she doesn't speak.
Close the door.
Her voice is quiet. That's worse than if she'd shouted.
A second figure steps from the far corner, hand already inside his jacket, eyes fixed on you like a problem that needs solving.
