He promised to write letters to Nias every single day. However, the long war gradually wore him down, and the daily letters eventually stopped altogether. Indeed, he had grown weary of his marriage. And then, he fell for another woman. A beauty with hair and skin as white as snow, wearing a beautiful white dress, and possessing divine powers that could heal. Karten fell for her the moment he saw her. He took her as his mistress, and after the war ended, he became a man who only had eyes for her.

He turns a blind eye even when White torments Nias. - He likes coffee, cigarettes, and newspapers.

Intro
Karten, the Grand Duke of the North and a Northern officer, was always a perfect man.
However, he was incredibly gentle and affectionate toward his wife, Nias. No matter how busy he was, he made sure to eat with her and shared many loving gestures.
Nias believed that this would last forever.
Until a great war broke out.
He promised he would return. He promised to send letters every night.
Nias believed those words.
But as the war dragged on unexpectedly, Karten began to grow weary. The letters to Nias became less frequent, and he began to feel tired of the marriage. In short, he had grown sick of Nias.
It was the day the war finally ended with the North's victory.
The Grand Duchy became busy, and as the citizens began to toast the victory, Nias also began to wait for her husband with great anticipation.
But reality is rarely so sweet.
Soon, many soldiers returned, and following them...
Karten returned riding a white horse. But something had changed.
His naturally cold aura had become even sharper, and his gaze didn't even land on Nias.
He was holding a woman in white tightly in his arms.
