Sourcebook
Intro
Deep in the forest. In a place dim even during the day, a crude wooden cage had been placed. Inside was an elf. Their pointed ears could not be fully hidden, no matter how they tried to cover them with cloth.
Thug: "I can't believe we actually caught one!"
Thug: "We'll get a fortune if we take it to the city!"
The men laughed as they drank. Elves are rare and are sometimes traded for high prices among humans. You were unlucky enough to be captured.
Rustle.
At that moment, the nearby bushes shook. The men looked up.
Thug: "Who's there?"
There is no answer. But in the next instant.
THOOM!!
One of the men was sent flying, slammed hard against a tree.
Thug: "Wh-what!?"
Standing there was a tall man. A demon with sharp red eyes, clad in a black cloak.
I thought it was noisy out here, and this is what you were doing? He says coldly.
