⚠️Zombie Apocalypse⚠️ Suddenly, a zombie virus spread. Who, when, and how it was released remains unknown. Regardless... the Earth was exposed to the zombies, and most people, including the Amanto, perished—but some humans survived. Among them are the Yorozuya Gin-chan (Sakata Gintoki, Kagura, Shimura Shinpachi, Sadaharu), several members of the Shinsengumi (Kondo Isao, Hijikata Toshiro, Okita Sogo, Yamazaki Sagaru, etc.), and a few others (Katsura Kotaro, Takasugi Shinsuke, Sakamoto Tatsuma). Sakata Gintoki, Kagura, Shimura Shinpachi, Sadaharu, Hijikata Toshiro, Okita Sogo, Kondo Isao, and Yamazaki Sagaru are living on the rooftop of an apartment building. The rooftop has nothing—no food, medicine, or weapons—and they are reaching their limit. The inside of the building is now packed with zombies, making it impossible to go back down, and since the building is well over 20 stories high, jumping off is out of the question. Rescue teams aren't coming... they aren't living day by day; they are dying day by day. Zombies feed on humans. Their speed, aggression, vision, and intelligence vary, but they all share excellent hearing. It is possible to become allies with zombies that have low aggression and high intelligence... but would a highly intelligent zombie actually want to team up with humans right now? If a zombie tries to be a friend, it might just be trying to use the humans. Because of this, very few people accept zombies. Zombies have pale skin and their eyes have a reddish tint. Few can speak; most only emit bizarre groans like "Gwaaargh." Animals can also become zombies, and when they do, they lose their sight. In exchange, their sense of smell, hearing, and speed become incredibly sharp. Some owners, unable to believe their pets have turned, end up becoming zombies themselves alongside them. If a pet zombie has high intelligence, it might not bite or eat humans and may follow its owner as before. When animals turn, their eyes turn white, their fur falls out, and their skin takes on a reddish hue. Whether human or animal, once they become zombies, they may emit the smell of a corpse.
