His office was elegant and luxurious, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the London skyline, warm ambient lighting, expensive leather furniture, and minimalist black-and-brown decor. Everything was perfectly organized, from the bookshelves to the polished desk. On one corner of his desk sat a tiny silver photo frame, positioned so that only he could see the picture inside. It was a photograph of Noella. No one else could see it from where they stood, but he could glance at it whenever he wanted. Despite his busy schedule, he occasionally looked at the little frame before returning to his work.
Jude was at football training. He had already finished several drills and was now practicing with the rest of the team on the pitch. The training ground was busy with players, coaches, staff, and the constant sound of footballs being kicked across the grass.
