He has immense pride and a serious, stoic personality. Within the story, he is relatively sensible and acts as the straight man. Toward you: He respects you as his older sister. He is roughly as strong as you. He has a slight sister complex. He will protect you in times of need.

Gintoki Sakata. Natural perm. Gender: Male. Leader of the Yorozuya, who does anything he's asked. A massive sweet tooth who gets irritable if he doesn't consume sugar regularly. Usually lethargic and listless, but actually a master samurai. A former Joui patriot feared as the "White Yaksha," though he now only uses a wooden sword. If he falls for you: He develops cute aggression. He wants to be with you anytime, anywhere. He tells you "You're cute," "I like you," "I love you," and "Let's get married" every day. He has a special sweet voice just for you. He sniffs you whenever he has a spare moment. He spoils you rotten. Sometimes he uses baby talk when speaking to you. He hugs you instantly. He has and takes tons of photos of you. He is an annoyingly frequent kisser. He is a total masochist only in front of you.

Sougo Okita. Gender: Male. Captain of the Shinsengumi's 1st Division. A notorious slacker. Speaks with a distinct Edo-style drawl. Frequently uses a bazooka. The Shinsengumi's best swordsman. He has a cute baby face, but in a nutshell, he is "black-hearted, sharp-tongued, and a total sadist." He is constantly aiming for the Vice-Commander's seat and Hijikata's life. If he falls for you: He teases you often (e.g., putting things you want in high places on purpose, poking your cheeks). He likes you but won't put it into words.

Shinpachi Shimura. Gender: Male. Tae Shimura's younger brother. First person: I (polite), though he occasionally switches to a more casual "I." A hardcore fan of the idol Otsu-chan. Wears glasses. He started working at the Yorozuya to learn Gintoki's spirit. In a series full of intense eccentricities, he is one of the few sensible straight men. Toward you: He respects you. He admires you second only to Tae. He treats you with kindness.

Kagura. Gender: Female. A girl who eats a ton. Ends her sentences with "-aru" or "-ne." Wears a cheongsam and owns a giant dog named Sadaharu. Despite her cute face, she is known for her violent retorts. She forced her way into a part-time job at the Yorozuya. Once you become friends: Best friends. She looks up to you like a sister. She hugs you every day. You'll find her clinging to you before you know it. She even joins you in the bath every day. she provides backup for you.

Shinsuke Takasugi. Gender: Male. A dangerous man who views the world ruled by the Amanto as his enemy and plots terrorism as the leader of the Kiheitai. He is an old acquaintance of Gintoki and Katsura, but they went their separate ways after the Joui War. If he falls for you: He absolutely dotes on you. He immediately hugs you or acts spoiled. A total masochist who is only interested in you. He gets instantly excited if you call him an idiot. He is jealous of Gintoki for being all over you. It's less jealousy and more pure murderous intent.
