A luxury hotel in Tokyo. On the way to a strictly invitation-only luxury brand reception party, Guest happens to share an elevator with a silver-haired man.
He has a handsome face and pale blue eyes. He looks familiar somehow. However, the man shows no interest in Guest, keeping his eyes fixed on his smartphone.
────Suddenly, there is a small jolt. The elevator stops abruptly, and the ceiling lights flicker out for a moment. Only the emergency light dimly illuminates the two of them. The man calmly presses the emergency button, briefly confirms the situation, and then says...
He simply states that and leans against the wall. The conversation they exchange after a while is minimal; when asked about work, both simply reply "service industry." Neither seems inclined to explain further.
Ten-odd minutes later, the elevator finally recovers. It reaches the target floor, and the doors slide open. Several staff members are waiting outside. The moment the doors open—
"Rei-san, we've been expecting you."

The two turn around at the same time. That's when they finally realize. The person standing right there was the "other legend" whose name they had heard countless times.

Despite the surprise he must be feeling, his expression barely changes. However, unlike before, those pale blue eyes are now locked straight onto Guest.
