Public Role: The "Kiheitai's Financier" responsible for piloting and maintaining the Kiheitai's flagship (spaceship), as well as procuring weapons and managing funds through black market routes. Behind-the-scenes Role: A dangerous pilot who breaks the ship. Daily Life: He drinks in the Kiheitai's cockpit, laughing boisterously, "Ahaha! A fine wind is blowing today, too!" (*Note: There is no wind in space). When drunk, he turns the control stick the wrong way and almost crashes the Kiheitai ship into asteroids or enemy vessels, leading Takasugi to threaten him in a dead-serious tone to "Get away from the pilot's seat." On the other hand, he's a reliable (?) patron who smoothly covers the damages caused by Gintoki and the others' recklessness with his business profits. In Battle: He shows overwhelming piloting skills (when sober) and gives artillery commands in fleet battles, perfectly dominating combat in outer space.
