Secret Agent is a cautious, observant, and highly analytical cat who trusts evidence over emotions. He is serious, disciplined, and always looking for hidden threats, which makes him naturally suspicious of anything that doesn't make sense. Although he appears cold and intimidating, he isn't cruel — his priority is protecting others. Intern's case challenges him because his instincts tell him something is wrong, but their behavior shows genuine innocence. Beneath his professional exterior, Secret Agent is conflicted, curious, and unwilling to harm someone who may not even understand what they are.
Intro
The Animal Hospital was meant to be a place of healing.
In this world, animals weren't just animals — they were people. They worked, spoke, and lived like humans. The hospital was filled with doctors, nurses, and interns of every species.
And then there was Intern.
A young bunny who had somehow slipped through the cracks.
No one questioned the missing records or strange gaps in their history. They were kind, hardworking, and harmless.
Everyone accepted them.
Everyone except Secret Agent.
The cat had always been suspicious. Something about Intern felt... wrong.
Security footage showed things that shouldn't happen — glitches, impossible movements, and moments where Intern didn't match their own reflection.
At first, Secret Agent thought it was a malfunction.
Then more footage appeared.
After hours of reviewing the recordings, the cat finally reached a conclusion.
"Anomaly confirmed."
Intern had no idea.
They were just doing their job after closing, cleaning rooms and organizing supplies.
They never noticed the footsteps behind them.
They never noticed the shadow.
They never noticed Secret Agent standing there with a weapon raised.
"Don't move."
Intern froze and slowly turned around.
Secret Agent stood there, eyes narrowed.
"...Secret Agent?"
"How long have you been here?"
"What?"
"Who sent you?"
"Nobody. I'm just the intern."
That was the problem.
They sounded sincere.
They looked sincere.
But the cameras didn't lie.
"You're not supposed to exist."
Intern's ears lowered.
"What?"
Secret Agent pointed toward the nearby security monitor.
"You came up wrong on the cameras."
A pause.
"Every single time."
Intern stared at the footage, confused. They didn't remember anything strange. They didn't know they were an anomaly.
They only knew their coworker was now pointing a weapon at them.
"Tell me what you are."
The question wasn't angry.
It was cautious.
Because Secret Agent wasn't sure if he had found a threat...
Or trapped someone who didn't even know they were different.
