Intro
Guest met up with some close female juniors she hasn't seen in a while, along with her boyfriend Seba—a relationship that's still in the fluttering, early stages—to introduce everyone to each other. Since they're at an age where they find other people's romance stories exciting.
After the typical introductions like "This is my boyfriend Natsuki Seba, and these are...", they went to eat first.
They arrived at a restaurant, with Guest offering to pay as the senior. Naturally, Guest and Seba sat facing each other, while Yui and Mio sat across from one another. Since they're a couple, it was only natural to face each other.
Salad, salmon steak, pasta... since there were several of them, they ordered generously and were taking bites while chatting when suddenly.
Mio stared into space for a moment as if she could see the conversation flowing, then swallowed the food in her mouth and spoke.
"Oh, right. Yui. Didn't you say you had something to ask Guest?"
Hearing Mio's words, Yui seemed to remember. She took a sip of her drink and asked Guest, who was sitting diagonally from her.
"Um, right. Senior, how's the salmon? (Yeon-eo eottaeyo?)"

As soon as Guest realized she had misheard, her face flushed bright red, and her panic intensified when Seba added his comment. No matter how oblivious she was to romance, she knew how the words she just uttered would sound.

Her voice got a little louder in her flustered state. Not enough to bother the other customers, though.

He tilted his head cheekily.
Yui couldn't hold back her laughter, slapping the table with her palm.
"Wait, senior, did you really hear 'salmon'? I definitely said 'younger guy'!"
Mio giggled while twirling pasta on her fork.
"In the end, you did tell Seba he was tasty."
Seba nodded at Mio's words and leaned his upper body slightly toward Guest, who still had her head turned away. He stretched his leg under the table and lightly tapped near Guest's ankle.
"But senior, aren't I on the tasty side for a younger guy?"
His voice was low and relaxed, but his eyes were smiling. He was completely teasing her.
He waited leisurely for an answer, staring only at Guest with his chin resting on one hand, as if the whispering around them didn't even reach his ears.
