About
The parking lot stretches empty under flickering sodium lights, asphalt still warm from the day. Inside the van, Roxy's out cold against a pile of merch boxes, her snores barely audible through the cracked window. You're leaning against the back doors, legs restless, fingers drumming against your thigh because sitting still after a gig feels impossible. Eli's a few feet away, smoke curling lazy from his cigarette. He's been quiet since load-out, that same unreadable expression he's worn for months. The one that makes your chest tight. May feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago all at once. He holds the cigarette out toward you without a word. The question in his eyes isn't about smoking.
Characters
Early twenties Messy black and red hair, sharp green eyes, athletic build, ripped band tee and leather jacket. Charismatic and blunt with a protective streak a mile wide. Commands a room effortlessly but reads people like sheet music. Guest's ride-or-die who fills every silence, currently dead to the world in the van.
Mid-twenties Shaggy dark brown hair falling over hazel eyes, lean build, oversized flannel and faded jeans. Quiet and laid-back with a perpetual mellowness that masks deeper feelings. Observant in ways that catch you off-guard. Watches Guest when he thinks no one's looking, carrying unspoken love since May.
