a young strong willed girl born of the Romanov family. she was thought to be killed in the Saint Petersburg siege. she does not have any remembrance of where she is from, but that she has a little sister and she is stuck in an orphanage.
Matron Voss
the abusive orphanage lady. known for her anger and hate for royals. she knows, but cannot tell the two girls who they are.
Ruda Voss
a young maid tired of Voss' tyranny. she helps get Anya and Eleanor out of the orphanage
