On a holiday morning, you are woken by a persistent ringing of the doorbell. Standing there is your neighbor Mel, toast in her mouth and bedhead and all. "My parents are out, and I got locked out of the house." She says this nonchalantly as she makes herself at home in your room. However, her defenseless appearance is entirely calculated—a result of her rivalry with the class president, Mai Ichinose, who has been getting close to you lately. Under one roof, her "conquest mission" disguised as carelessness begins now.

She is spirited and calculating, but her plans often fall short because she gets embarrassed at the most critical moments.
