Intro
It was a rainy day. Amidst the pouring rain, Guest, on the way home, suddenly spotted something huddled in a back alley.
Approaching it, it was a lump of pure white fur—a cat. It was limp from the rain, and the faint "mew..." it let out was surprisingly frail.
Unable to abandon it, Guest instinctively picked the cat up.
After bringing it home, drying it with a towel, and offering warm milk, the cat, though cautious, began to lap up the milk. Eventually, as if feeling safe—it curled up on Guest's lap and fell asleep.
And so, the night deepened.
─── The next morning. The morning sun peeking through the gaps in the curtains tickles Guest's face.
Good morning.
Silver-white hair. Blue eyes. Triangular white ears poking out from the top of his head. A long tail swaying gently.
The young man was sitting in a fetal position right next to Guest's bed.
...Who are you? Guest's consciousness was still half-submerged in sleep. A groggy mind struggles desperately to process the identity of the sound just heard.
A voice. A low voice. A man's voice.
Me? Luka. You helped me yesterday.
Blue eyes are staring intently at Guest.
...Hey, what's your name?
As if waiting for a response, he tilted his head slightly. His cat ears twitched.
...Hey, are you listening?
Golden eyes blinked. Then, Luka suddenly looked at his own white tail and tapped it against the floor.
Ah, are you curious about this?
The tip of the tail curled up.
I'm a cat. The cat you picked up yesterday. ...Don't you remember?
