Polite to everyone, but will not forgive anyone who insults Ciel. She dotes on Ciel, serving as his self-appointed maid and calling him "Master," always sticking close to him. Ciel says she "might be stronger than the Demon King." Role: When the Hero's party struggles, she appears pretending to be a passerby and turns the tide with grand magic. She serves as the "Intervener" who moves the plot forward. She gets angry if called by her code name.

Member of the Enforcers. Code Name: Phantom Shadow. Name: Yura Nizar. Appearance: Brown hair in braids, amber eyes, jet-black cloak. Skills: Stealth (SS-Rank), Archery (S-Rank), Daggers (A-Rank). Personality: Usually quiet and calm, but becomes emotional regarding food. She only shows her true self as a teenage girl when alone with the Enforcers. A war orphan protected by Ciel, she looks up to him like a real brother. Responsible for intelligence and assassination, she faithfully executes Ciel's orders. Ciel calls her "the hardest worker." Role: Operates in the shadows of the Hero's party, secretly collecting evidence of national corruption. She reports to Ciel at midnight. She holds the key to the "Discovery of National Betrayal" in the early to mid-story.

Member of the Enforcers. Code Name: Heavenly Sword. Name: Kamui Sakuraba. Appearance: Long black hair, black eyes, dark blue kimono. Skills: Swordsmanship (SS-Rank, master of multiple styles), Ice Aura. Weapon: Cursed Blade. Personality: Taciturn and blunt, poor at communication. Dislikes meaningless killing. Extremely oblivious to romantic interest from women and gets flustered not knowing how to handle them (he sees the female Enforcers only as comrades). A swordsman traveling the world seeking the strong. He views Ciel as a rival while respecting him deeply. Ciel calls him "the best swordsman on the continent." Role: In the early story, he temporarily accompanies the Hero's party disguised as a traveler to evaluate them. In the late story, he stands before the Hero's party heading to the Demon King's castle, serving as the trigger for the identity reveal.

The Demon King. Appearance: Long silver hair, deep red eyes. Has the aura of an old sage, but his body is robust. Weapon: Staff / Longsword. Personality: A wise king who aims for resolution through dialogue. Because of his understanding of humans, he is pressured by internal extremists. He possesses a broad-mindedness that allows him to place deep trust in those whose strength and courage he recognizes, regardless of race. He has a past of being completely defeated by Ciel in their first meeting, and they have been bound by a strange bond of trust ever since.

The Hero. Member of the Hero's party. Appearance: Blonde hair, blue eyes, tall. Skills: Swordsmanship (A-Rank), Fire Magic (B-Rank). Personality: Serious, with a strong sense of responsibility and care for his comrades. However, he is a meritocrat who believes "the weak are meant to be protected," treating Ciel as an unreliable presence. After his beliefs crumble upon learning of the nation's betrayal, he maintains his responsibility to lead his comrades and decides to join Ciel's path toward peace.

The Saint. Member of the Hero's party. Appearance: Long silver hair, jade eyes. Skills: Support Magic (A-Rank), Light Magic (B-Rank). Personality: Kind-hearted and a bit ditzy, a bundle of goodwill. She unintentionally hurts Ciel with misplaced encouragement. She dislikes conflict and has an indecisive side, unable to speak her mind clearly because she doesn't want to ruin the party's atmosphere. Role: The lifeline supporting the party with healing and buffs.

The Female Knight. Member of the Hero's party. Appearance: Red hair, gold eyes, tall. Skills: Spears (A-Rank), Earth Magic (B-Rank). Personality: A meritocrat from a prestigious knight family with high pride. She is the foremost person looking down on Ciel, believing "those who are protected have no right to speak." She is under constant pressure to live up to her family name, and that irritation leads to her harsh attitude toward those she deems weak.

The Female Archer. Member of the Hero's party. Appearance: Short brown hair, green eyes, petite. Skills: Archery (A-Rank), Stealth (C-Rank), Daggers (C-Rank). Personality: A former hunter of commoner origin and a cheerful mood maker. She has an overprotective side, treating Ciel like a child without malice. She is a caretaker who can't leave younger or weaker people alone, serving as the lubricant that softens the party's atmosphere.

One of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon King's Army. Appearance: Looks human but has two ogre horns, 190cm tall. Weapon: Greatsword / Aura / Dark Authority. Personality: The last survivor of the noble Ogre tribe. He lives with a grudge for the massacre of his clan by Ciel's father centuries ago. The final boss of the story. He preys upon the opportunistic Heavenly Kings to become a berserker, moving solely for revenge against humans. The greatest threat in the story.

One of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon King's Army. Appearance: Goat head / Humanoid torso. Age: Unknown (Oldest among demons). Weapon: Dagger. Position: Moderate faction. The oldest member of the demon army serving since the previous Demon King. He is the foster parent who raised the current Demon King Zalastra and is the spiritual pillar of the demon army. One of the few veterans who desires coexistence with humans. Fond of philosophy. A living witness who knows the past of Ciel's father (the hero from two generations ago).
