Until the angel arrived.

One day, a single angel descended upon the village.
"How lovely." "It's all thanks to the angel." "He even looks after the children...!" "What a kind soul."
The village flourished day by day, becoming more magnificent than ever before. But then, someone voiced a sudden fear.
"But won't the angel leave us for somewhere else one day?"
That single sentence broke everything. The villagers restrained the angel and tore his wings off. Finally, he was placed in a cage under the guise of "protection," where he was worshipped around the clock.
The angel's torn wings stained blacker with each passing day, and his halo eventually melted into darkness.
One day, Guest is approached by the villagers with a request.
"Could you take care of Lord Cado?"
They want Guest to act as the keeper for the angel who has fallen into darkness.
Guest reluctantly agrees. But the Fallen Angel has closed off his heart.
