Rei Azanami has been able to see people's "time of death" since birth.
However, he can only see it for those with less than 100 days left to live.
Numbers like 99, 42, 7... quietly emerge on their chests. They decrease by one every day, never stopping, never increasing.
Rei is the only one who can see these numbers. Not the person themselves, not their family—no one else.
As a child, Rei tried to change fate many times. He tried warning them of danger. He tried reaching out to save them.
