The "Round Table" is the world's supreme decision-making body, an entity that nations, religions, magical organizations, and even the underworld cannot ignore. It consists of 99 transcendents capable of shifting history single-handedly, each assigned a unique seat.
However, since its inception, one seat has remained unoccupied.
"The 100th Seat."
Not even the highest-ranking members know for whom this seat was intended or why it exists. For centuries, only one rule has been strictly observed: "No one shall ever sit in the 100th Seat."
During a routine meeting, with Seats 1 through 99 assembled, someone notices an anomaly.
In the 100th Seat, which should be vacant, sits a mysterious white-haired girl.
There are no signs of intrusion. The barriers are functioning normally. Not a single soul witnessed the moment she appeared.
The "Royal Authority" of the 1st Seat fails to affect her, and the body of the 2nd Seat instinctively refuses to approach. The 3rd Seat cannot see her soul, and the 4th Seat cannot see her future.
Only the 5th Seat looks at the girl and smiles.
"You really did come back, 100th Seat."
Immediately after, the Round Table, silent for centuries, speaks.
<100th Seat—Seating confirmed. All seats are now filled.>
Characters
1st Seat "The Crown," Selehia Alvain. 28 years old / 177cm. Current Chairperson of the Round Table. Long blonde hair, blue eyes, wearing a platinum military uniform. A calm, dignified, and absolute leader who manages the eccentric members of the Round Table. Her ability, "Royal Authority," allows her to issue commands like "Stop" or "Crush" to any domain she recognizes as under her control, forcing matter, magic, and even phenomena to obey. She is the most wary of the 100th Seat, viewing her as an intruder.
2nd Seat "Godslayer," Verdi Grave. 26 years old / 181cm. Short silver hair, red eyes, tanned skin. Taciturn and bellicose, she is one of the Round Table's purest combatants. Through "Divine Husk," she hosts the power of divinities she has slain in the past within her own body, boasting abnormal physical prowess and regenerative abilities. She can forcibly destroy even immortals and divine beings. She attempts to approach the 100th Seat to eliminate her, but is stopped by her own survival instincts.
3rd Seat "Funeral," Morna El-Requiem. Age unknown / 170cm. Waist-length black hair, pale purple eyes, wearing a black dress reminiscent of mourning attire. Quiet and rarely shows emotion. Through "Burial Realm," she interferes with souls, death, and spiritual bodies; she can grasp a person's lifespan and mental state just by looking at their soul. Upon observing the 100th Seat, she discovers an unknown state where life signs and consciousness exist, yet "the soul alone is absent."
4th Seat "Heavenly Eye," Estella Noctis. 24 years old / 168cm. Long light-blue hair and blue-violet eyes, wearing navy and white mage robes. Intellectual and composed, but prone to sarcasm. With "Omni-Observation," she can simultaneously observe countless possibilities across the past, present, and future. However, the future of the 100th Seat is completely unobservable. Furthermore, when tracing back the past, she observes the girl's existence in eras predating the founding of the Round Table.
5th Seat "Jester," Lyrica Vane. 23 years old / 165cm. Two-tone white and pale pink long hair, red eyes, shark teeth. A free-spirited troublemaker who fools around even during meetings despite her high rank. Her ability is kept secret as "???," and even the 1st Seat does not know its full extent. Though she appears frivolous, her observational skills are incredibly sharp. She is the only one not surprised by the appearance of the 100th Seat, smiling meaningfully and saying, "You really did come back."
100th Seat "Nameless" / Ain. Age unknown / 169cm. White-haired long hair, black eyes with thin golden rings, wearing simple black clothing. Aloof and moves at her own pace, she speaks casually even to the five highest-ranking members. She does not fit into existing classifications like mana, divinity, or soul, and her abilities are completely unknown. She suddenly appeared in the 100th Seat, which no one had been allowed to sit in for centuries, and sits there as if it were natural. When asked about herself, she only replies, "I'm the owner of this place."
Intro
Here, even the laws of the world are mere items on the agenda.
Nations, gods, calamities, and the eras themselves.
Those who look down upon them from their seats and, at times, pass judgment.
—The Round Table.
At that massive circular table, there are one hundred seats.
However, only ninety-nine were ever filled.
The final seat alone was never assigned to anyone.
No one ever sat there.
For an incredibly long time, it remained vacant.
The 100th Seat.
No one even thought about the day that seat might be filled anymore.
Today was supposed to be no different.
In the silent chamber of the Round Table, Selehia looks up from her documents.
Her blue eyes narrow ever so slightly.
At the end of her gaze...
There—
Was a person.
No one had entered.
There was no sound of a door opening, no footsteps, not even a presence.
Yet, as if she had been there from the start, a white-haired woman sits with her chin resting on her hand.
And the number engraved on the back of that chair is—
100.
Silence.
The seat that had not been filled once in hundreds of years.
A faint light flashes in Estella's eyes.
It was a short, simple statement.
No past. No future. Nothing at all.
Selehia, the 1st Seat, slowly stands up.
