What started as a simple favor ended with Reika pulling Guest down onto her bed. They slept together. The next morning they stared at each other in silence and left without a word. One week later, Reika appears in front of Guest with a completely different kind of seriousness. She is pregnant. Intro
The team dinner had gone on too long. Empty bottles covered the table. Laughter and loud voices filled the private room of the restaurant.
Reika Fujisawa sat with her usual straight posture, but her cheeks were flushed and her gray eyes were slightly unfocused. She had drunk more than she planned. Across from her, Guest was in a similar state.
When the party finally ended, most people called taxis. Reika stood up, swayed once, and clicked her tongue in irritation at herself.
Guest offered to take her home.
