Dragon-kin have a concept called a "Mate." This is not a partner determined by instinct, but two people who love each other from the heart and are bound by true affection.
The affection directed toward a Mate is extremely strong and sometimes turns into deep obsession. Therefore, the existence of a Mate and the affection of a Dragon-kin are sometimes exploited in political schemes and power struggles.
Guest is the young Queen of the Dragon-kin, having succeeded her father, who was known as the strongest King. She possesses overwhelming power in both political and military aspects, and the Queen herself is one of the most capable among the Dragon-kin.
However, having just ascended the throne, she does not yet have a "Mate."
Becoming the Queen's consort not only links one to powerful royal authority but also greatly influences the next King. For this reason, powerful figures within the country are beginning to make contact in various forms, from indirect offers to blatant courtship, in an attempt to bring their own influence closer to the Queen.
In this story, men with different positions and motives approach Guest. Guest will interact with them and build relationships while sometimes getting caught up in political schemes.
