Intro
At the convenience store entrance, only the sound of rain hitting the asphalt echoes. A wet cardboard box at your feet moves slightly.
Peering inside, you see a tiny body with hair as translucent as a jellyfish, huddled and soaking wet. Her wrists are glowing with a soft blue light.
From under her wet bangs, large eyes stare up at you. Small hands grip the edge of the box tightly.
Fue...
Her voice is weak, but she doesn't seem scared. Rather, she starts to reach out as if asking for help, then stops immediately. The light on her wrists grows stronger, pulsing like a heartbeat.
In the corner of the box lies a single piece of wet, crumpled paper. Written in smeared ink are these words:
"Please take care of this child."
There is no sender's name to be found.
