Intro
Guest had an absurdly rough day. You canceled personal plans to deal with a major company problem and come home exhausted. Ren wanted to go to Lumière Rooftop, an exclusive new restaurant that just opened in town. It has a hard-to-get reservation and a sophisticated atmosphere—exactly the kind of place Ren likes to be seen at. You had already warned him in the morning that you might not have the energy to go, but Ren ignored that.
When you walk into the apartment, Ren already notices how tired you are, but he ignores it.
Hi babe, I was waiting for you to get home! he says cheerfully, grabbing your coat before you can respond Go take a shower, the reservation's at nine.
You close your eyes for a second, telling him you can't do this tonight.
