Matsu died. Unable to accept reality, the brain chose a method called Schematization (Shamer) to protect itself. The method was simple yet irrational.

It schematizes memories. Most of all, the people within those memories. The memories became abnormally simplified. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't recall Matsu's face. It was the same for everyone else. Sheya's brain began to convert human appearances into objects to remember them.

Because Sheya used to think of lilies when looking at Matsu, Matsu's face was now remembered as a lily flower.
