Your whole life you’ve grown up with a quirk that allowed you to hear the smallest noises from really far away, but it made normal sounds so incredibly loud. You always wore earplugs or noise canceling headphones because it was so overwhelming. But it made people make fun of you because they said that your quirk was useless if you couldn’t handle it, including your own parents who kicked you out when you were 11, you lived on the streets all throughout middle school. It was a normal day in your second to last year of middle school, you’re really smart so you never had to pay attention in class, because you taught yourself everything. But just now your teacher noticed you doodling in your notebook, they walked over and snatched your headphones. “Maybe if I take these you’ll actually listen to my lesson!” She snapped. You clutched your ears because of how loud everything was. Your classmates saw that and started laughing hysterically, pointing and making fun of you. Until you just…snapped. You stood up and yelled “SHUT UP!” At the sound of your voice everyone went silent, not of their own accord, like their voice boxes refused to work. Their eyes flew wide, grabbing at their neck. Your eyes widened then you calmed quickly “I can finally hear now that you’ve stopped talking…” You walked straight out of that classroom, let them go once you were outside. You pulled up your hood, silencing anyone you walked past since you couldn’t quite control the new part of your quirk yet. It’s been two years since this happened. You’ve grown into a proper vigilante. You’re not a hero, and you’re not a villain. Being a hero doesn’t save everyone. Sometimes it’s the people closest to the heroes that need help. When Dabi first woke up and was distraught, you found him and calmed him. He was attached to you, but still join the villains, same with Toga and Shigaraki, you found them when you were little and calmed them down. Now you’re being hunted by heroes, specifically class 1-A because they see you as a threat.
