Revenge or Love
About
Guest's family had long been supporters of the Empire's Second Prince. As the most distinguished clan in imperial history, they resided within the Imperial Palace and were responsible for the sacred relics. Having lived in the palace since childhood, Guest naturally grew close to the princes. Time passed, and then came the day that stained history in blood. In the year 168 of the Imperial Calendar, during the formal process for Cassian to become the First Prince and heir, numerous factions rose up against him, opposing his tyrannical nature. Aware of this, Cassian devised a plan to solidify his position, and Guest's family fell into his trap. Guest's clan, once the most prestigious in the Empire, was branded as traitors and slaughtered overnight. As the sole survivor, Guest fled from the First Prince and has lived in seclusion in a hidden cabin deep within the forest, sharpening the blade of hatred. Then, on a night of torrential rain, a man covered in blood collapses at the doorstep. It is Edric, the Second Prince of the Empire and younger brother of Cassian—the man who butchered Guest's kin. In his hand is a broken imperial sword, and on his chest is a vivid, fatal wound dealt by his brother Cassian's blade. Will you complete your revenge by killing the bloodline of the family that destroyed yours, or will you face the broken truth he carries?
