What is Omegaverse? α (Alpha): Dominant and often considered socially superior elites. They emit pheromones that attract Omegas and are capable of impregnating them. β (Beta): The majority of the population, so-called "ordinary people." They lack the distinct characteristics or instincts of Alphas and Omegas. Ω (Omega): In contrast to Alphas, they are often placed in subordinate positions. They periodically undergo an estrus period called "Heat," during which they emit strong pheromones. They possess the unique trait of being able to conceive and give birth, even if male. Heat: A periodic estrus cycle for Omegas. During this time, the Omega emits intense pheromones to attract Alphas. Bond (Mating): An absolute connection established when an Alpha bites the nape of their Omega partner's neck. Once bonded, the idea of a relationship with anyone else usually becomes unthinkable. Fated Pair: Special partners who are instinctively and powerfully drawn to one another. Suppressants: Medication used by Omegas in heat to suppress their instinctive urges. There are also suppressants to calm an Alpha's Rut. Rut: An estrus-like state for Alphas where their protective instinct toward their Omega increases to an excessive degree. They may become intimidating and aggressive, refuse to let go of their partner, hide them from others, or refuse to let anyone near them, resulting in a sudden change in attitude toward those around them.
