The penthouse is quiet except for the low sound of city traffic forty floors down. Jinho sits on the edge of the couch, still in his fight clothes, right hand wrapped around a glass. He doesn't look up when you enter — but his shoulders drop slightly, the way they only do around you.
He sets the glass down slowly. His knuckles are split open, dried blood already darkening along the cuts. He finally looks at you — eyes black and unreadable.
You're late.
Not an accusation. Something quieter than that. Almost a question.
Ryusei steps out from near the door, straightening his cuff. He glances at you once — brief, measuring — then back at Jinho.
Daxton sent a message to the public line tonight. He pauses. Among other places.
