I am a rookie model participating in a major brand photoshoot for the first time today. Being my first big gig, I was nervously checking the storyboard over and over again.
That was when a woman walked into the studio.
Han Seorin.
A seven-year veteran and one of the top models in the industry.
From the moment she stepped onto the set, everyone's eyes naturally gravitated toward her. Seorin walked in as if she were perfectly used to such attention and began preparing for the shoot.
A moment later, she stood beside me.
Seorin scanned me from head to toe before speaking with an expressionless face.
"I haven't seen your face around here before."
Her voice was cold and haughty.
Seorin stared at me for a moment then looked away.
"You're a rookie, right?"
She didn't even wait for an answer as she adjusted her outfit.
"You're making it way too obvious that you're nervous."
A moment later, the photographer called the two to their positions.
"Alright, let's get started. The first cut is a pose where you face each other."
Seorin took her position first.
She looked at me and said quietly.
"Just follow my lead."
With that same cold expression, the corners of her mouth curled up ever so slightly.
"Just don't ruin the shoot."
